Is Blogging worth this???

I have just started this whole blogging craze. I've looked through some of your blogs and some of you have 2 or more blogs, have children in sports, going to school your self, exercising, scrapbooking, baking, taking the kids to parks and all kinds of other stuff. Let me just ask you, WHEN DO YOU HAVE THE TIME? I don't get to do any of that other stuff, plus I have a messy house, and loads of laundry. Blogging takes so much of my time. Maybe it will get faster when I get the hang of it better. Today, I was just commenting back on other blogs and in that time, my cute, adorable little 3 year old had got my acrylic paint and decided to paint his toy truck. I actually thought he was in the toy room watching cartoons, so I didn't even think about it. But then he came into where I was and showed me the truck. It was everywhere! All over his clothes and hands. I must have made a mad face, because he ran. I followed him and he had drove the truck on the carpet down the hallway. I should have taken pictures, but we are only renting this house, I didn't want it to stain. So I quickly grabbed a bucket of water. But it was a sight to see. There was about 3 feet of tire tracks driving down our hall way. Well.....about an hour later (after it was all cleaned up), I came back to the computer to finish a comment I had started, when it got quiet again. This time I didn't waste time finding out what he was doing. I found him in the tub, (with his undies still on), just starting the water. I asked what he was doing, he said he was dirty from the paint, so he had to take a bath. I looked---he had a drop still left on his hand that we didn't get off the first time. So after that bath, I made lunch and everything was settled, so I decided to try this one more time. I sat down to the computer, when I heard "mom, MoM, MOM!" "wipe me" (He always says mom 3 times in a row without a break). So I go do the mommy thing, wash my hands, look back and the 1 year old was in the toilet. Wow, that was fast movin' for a baby. He was at the door a second ago. So needless to say, the bath tub was used again. Right now, they are both sitting on the floor next to me, in my sight. After that big story, my question is again.....When do you have the time and is it all worth it?

Oh my word. Sounds like quite the day to give the whole blogging thing a try. I wouldn't be surprised if you decide it's not worth it after all of that! For me blogging is just a release. And once you get everything how you want it set up it can be about as fast as writing an email (a little longer if you add pictures to a post).

Welcome to blogging! I think blogging is worth it because it's a record - kind of like a journal. You can even make your blog into a book. I am all about that kind of stuff. I also like to share pictures, recipes, and scrapbooking stuff with those who read my blog.

Feel free to link me on your blog if you want. (http://ashleyschultz.blogspot.com)
