stuff here and there...

Well, it's been a couple of days sinced a posted anything. I have been pretty sick. I am suppose to post a positive thought everyday, but I end up going to bed at night instead of playing on the computer. Along with me being sick, my baby is sick. So that results in no sleep for me at night. He wakes up at all hours with congestion and coughing. I hate it when babies get sick. It's not like they can tell you how they feel and what they want.

The weather has been so warm the last couple of days, it's wonderful. On Saturday, Mishae was at a party, and Bryer was at a friends, so the other 4 kids got this big tarp and put it on the hill in our yard. They played out there for hours. They had a blast. A neighbor boy also came over for while. It is so nice to be able to do what I do in the house and have
the kids entertained outside. Even the baby was out there for a while.

Last friday, Chad and I went to Maggiano's in Bellevue. We were given a gift card from his work. It was really good service and food, but I think I prefer Olive Garden. Our gift card was for $50 and we spent the whole thing of course, but only got about half of what we would have at Olive Garden. The dinner didn't come with any bread or salad like OG. We bought 4 tiny pieces of Bruchetta for $7. (which is hard toasted bread with stuff on top.) It was good, but not $7 worth for the amount. Chad's meal was very good, but very tiny. Oh ya... we had to pay tip, so that was an extra $10. So that is $60 for half the food you'd get at OG. Not that I eat everything at OG, but it's always good to take home leftovers for the kids. Mishae loves a good doggy bag full of food. :-)
Anyways....the point of this story is....if you want to get a lot for your money, go to Olive Garden. If you don't, Maggiano's is the place for you.

After we finished eating, Chad took me up to the 23rd floor of the building he is working on. We went out on the deck, and wow, it is sooooooo high. It was way scary. I don't know who some people work so high up off the ground. It got me a little dizzy. But I took pictures from everyside of the building. The side which faced Seattle, had a huge crane in the way, so I didn't get a good picture of it. But it was cool to see the big city from way up high.

I have been thankful for the weather this last weekend. I love to be able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful yard and the Spring smells. I'm also thankful to Korban. He has been really good for me while the baby and I have been sick. And of course, I am thankful for Chad. He took my class for me on Sunday. He always helps out when he is needed.
