My dad took the kids and I down to a little beach on Utah Lake. Utah Lake is known for being a dirty shallow lake. When we first got there, it looked really nice and sandy. But as we got down to the water, it was a muddy slimy type of sand. Mishae said no way she was getting in. But of course, boys don't care about getting a little dirty sometimes. Any hey, what are showers for?
This is a way saturated picture, but I thought it looked cool. You can tell how shallow this lake really is. The boys went out even farther then in this picture.
Korban didn't dare go out too far, which I was glad. I didn't want to end up going in after him. I wasn't dressed for taking a swim (or wading) in the water.
The kids that got in the water, went in from this rocky side. That way, they didn't sink in the mud. But they said it got nice and sandy not far out. Mishae still didn't want to get in. What a scaredy cat, girl!
I think they had a good time. It was just a quick little adventure.
