On Saturday's, Home Depot, offers a workshop for kids to come and build little projects. Chad, being the tool man that he is, took the kids a couple of weeks ago, and they built a little fire truck. It was really cute. They also got a home depot apron and a pin when the project was finished. I wasn't there to take pictures, so here is Korban and his fire truck, after they got home. (he always has such a crazy smile).
Today, I wanted to go, so I could get pictures of them actually making the projects. We got there towards the end, so the kids didn't all make the same thing, but the lady was nice and found other projects for them to make. Bryer and Traven made a football step stool. Mishae made a tray. Ashlin and the 2 K's made a leaf press.
They are very simple projects, so it doesn't take a pro to do it, and it is really fun for the kids.
Even Kaylor put on his glasses for about 10 seconds and hammered away. He loved the hammering part.
This is towards the end. Notice behind Kaylor. There was a bunch of candy, he was trying to get, so Bryer put that "Nobody Beats Our Prices" sign in front of the candy shelves. So this is Kaylor throwing his little toddler fit. Gotta Love It!

That is so cool- I didn't know Home Depot did that. I love the picture at the top of your blog page, by the way.
Are these free? What a great idea!
You two are such great parents to do that with the kids. Alan and I left the kids home this saturday and went to Logan. We should have taken the kids and done a project. Way to go and show me up. It was good to see Ray in church today.
What a fun thing to do. I bet Chad was so proud to see his kids be as talented as their pa.
How cool that Home Depot offers this!
