The Hansen Clan

Well, I feel like I have abandoned the blogging world. It has been way too long since I posted anything. Life has been pretty crazy. We got to Utah late, Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving. So on Thanksgiving morning, we unloaded 2 budget trucks.....yes, 2, into a storage unit. We had/have SO much stuff! Thank you a ton Daddy Ray and Kyle for the help. We only kept a few things out and headed down to my moms for Turkey Dinner. And that is were we still are. A family of 8 has invaded my parents house. 3 boys in one room, 2 girls and the baby in another, and Chad & me in the 3rd. I've tried to organize it, so it actually doesn't seem that crowded. (I've lived more confined then this before, believe me.) I totally thought that Chad would have this big meeting with the main boss guy, and we would know where he was going to work, and where we needed to live, but no such luck. So we chose to just enroll the kids in school and go on with life, in my good ol' home town. They actually sent Chad back out to WA to finish up a few things. Nice of them to make us leave, huh? And then send him back. Whatever! I don't understand it. Anyway, my parents are the bestest parents in the whole wide world, that they let us crash here till the end of the school year. They barely got rid of my sister and her family, and now they get us, with 6 really loud kids. At least my sisters kids were quiet. (I think). Actually, they loved having my sisters family here. They miss them SO much. And my mom says she is happy that I am here now. I'll see in a few months, if her feelings change. Love you mom and dad! I just want to list some different thoughts I have on Utah and WA........... *I love all the trees in WA, but I also like to see the mountains, and where I'm going, in UT. *I really miss the humidity in WA. I am so, so dry now, but my hair actually is better in UT. It has more volume or something that I am liking. *I don't miss the WA house at all! I hated it. Stinky neighbors, a dog the kids were scared of, and I was allergic to, had to pay for their portion of electicity,and the roof leaked and was so cold.. Loved the pool, (for the 2 months out of the year we could swim). And I did like living down a private road. It was nice and peaceful. *I am loving the sunshine! It has been sunny almost the whole time we have been back in UT. It's much colder outside, but seems warmer, cuz of the sun. I was getting SO sick of the rain in WA. I like a good rain storm every once in a while, but not everyday. *I loved all the things we could do in WA. So many attractions that are very beautiful. Loved all the lakes and Puget Sound. Didn't get to do all that I wanted, but we did a lot. *Love the car dealership in UT. They didn't even have to drive with us. They just let us take it and had no problem. We ended up getting it and I love my new Suburban. Yeah! *So happy to be back with family in UT. *Love you WA friends. You are great! **Lifes an ADVENTURE!!!**
