A much needed Vacation

My VACATION! Bellevue, WA. The best thing about it was that it was just me and Chad. No kids were allowed. You know....it is very hard to not have a dad in the home to help raise the children. Kudos to those of you who have to do it full time. You are much better then I am. But it has been a very hard adjustment for all of us. We see Chad about every 2 weekends. But this weekend, I went up to him instead of him coming to us. It was not a great weather weekend, but still so wonderful. I helped Chad do some work on the towers. We went shopping. Watched some movies. Went out to dinner a few times. Played some games with some of Chads friends, (who live in the towers and also GAVE me a really cute $288 purse.)

Here we are at "The Crab Pot". It was actually the most we have ever spent on a dinner, but it was well worth it. The waiter put on our bibs, put a big piece of butcher paper down on the table and poored a huge pot of steamed seafood out on the table. 3 kinds of crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Yum, Yum! I love Sea FOOD! And I love to Eat FOOD!

It was such a perfect weekend. And so wonderful to see Chad. But then....we had to come back to reality!
