Saturday, after the kids did their chores, I took them on a hike up to Battle Creek Falls. It was a perfect weather day for a hike and it was a very short, but kinda steep hike. Just right for an old gal like me. Even little Kaylor did a great job, and walked the whole way.
The kids had a great time hiking, throwing rocks in the water, and swimming in the water. And yes, it was very cold. It's a great activity when the kids are having one of those, "I'm bored, mom. What can we do!" days.
