Easter 2010

This year was a little different for Easter. 

Instead of buying 6 baskets that we never use again,  we made them the night before.  I bought a pack of 10 brown paper bags with handles for only like 3 bucks, and we decorated them with stickers, ribbon, etc.  Cheap and Fun! 

Instead of outfits and toys, the kids got spiritual things, like….. CTR ring, Young Women theme poster,  Captain Moroni poster, scripture hero cards, scripture abc book from Ammon to Zoram, and a few other things like that.  Of course they got a little candy.  Also…they all got a letter with a poem about not receiving toys this year, and to focus on the true meaning of Easter.  So we all sat around and read the First Easter story.  I really liked how we did it.  And I probably will do again every year. 

And of course we colored eggs, and went on our Easter egg hunt!  Grandma puts MONEY in her eggs she hid.  She even put 5 dollar bills in a few eggs, and hid them really hard.
