Progressive Dinner

A few years back, before we moved to WA, a group of us were always getting together for one thing or another.  Well, when we came back, nobody was getting together like they use to.  So, we have decided to start up again.   This month, I planned a Progressive Dinner.  I think it turned out great!  Everyone had wonderful food, and of course it was wonderful company.  Here are my invitations I made.  I saw it on a blog somewhere.  (Sorry, I can’t remember who to give credit to).  But I think they turned out really cute.

Halloween1

I was the first house we went to, which was the ‘bloody’ appetizers.  I made Shrimp Cocktail(You can get the recipe here).  Below, you can see my good finds at the $1 store!  Can’t beat the $1 store!

Halloween2

Here was the cool part that nobody really got to see except Chad and me!  We had little containers of water spread through out the kitchen, and then we put dry ice in them.  So we had the fog pouring off the cupboards and on the table.  It was quite cool.  But it didn’t last long enough.

Next month…..Plan on going Bowling!  I here they serve up a really good ribs that they cook on their new smoker!!!!
