Quick Question for ya'll

I'm just wondering if any of you stay at home moms wear your sweats all day? I got up this morning, took my shower, and was ready to put on pants, nice shirt, and sandals, when I thought, WHY? I'm not going anywhere. I am going to be doing laundry, dishes, and diapers all day. Whats the point in wearing nice clothes? So I put on sweats and a t-shirt, and my flip-flops. So, I'm just wandering, am I the only one out there that doesn't feel like dressing up everyday, just to cook, clean, wipe, vaccum, mop, wash, fold and everything else that comes along with being a stay at home mom?

Amen, Sister. I totally agree. I hang out in my sweats all day then when my husband calls and tells me he is heading home I hurry and get dressed up before he gets home.

If I know I'm not going anywhere or having anyone come over then I totally wear whatever is comfiest. What's the point when all I'm doing is conquering the Mt. Everest of laundry?

I am the same way...I end up staying in my sweats or pajama bottoms all day....the sad part is James works from home so I can't do what carrie does. :)

I do it and I don't even have the excuse of kids to take care of all day. When I'm just home writing papers all day though, I would rather be comfortable than not. I don't even change before Wendel gets home - I have no shame. He's cool with it, so am I. It works.

I basically wear a dress and heels every day. My motto is to always look your best. And if you believe that crap then you obviously don't know me very well!

I'm sorry, daughter dear, but it is just habit for me to get dressed, casually and comfortable, and put on my face so I'm ready for any spur of the moment event that I need to do at the spur of the moment. It also makes me feel good about myself. Love ya, Mom

I'm not really a sweats girl, but definitely an "I'm not putting on make-up or doing my hair today" girl! Maybe if I had a little girl I could dress up, then I'd turn into a sweats mom :o)
