This first picture is last Saturday. Isn't is so disgusting? I didn't help much. I couldn't stand the smell, and the look. But Chad and the kids did a great job. They got it done in a day and we started filling the pool. Then yesterday and today, we got all the weeds cut down, so the kids could have their pool party. They got right to helping, knowing they were getting a party.
Now here is the pool afterwards and the kids are having a great time swimming with their friends. My kids each invited a couple of friends over and stayed until the shade hit the pool.
At the end of the day, they didn't want to get out, but I had enough of the sun. Plus the baby was starting to get hungry and fussy. So we called it a day and I was too lazy to cook dinner so we went and got pizza.

Yuck on the before, awesome on the after. I bet you guys are having so much fun!!! My kids would spend all day every day in a pool if they could.
I'm impressed at how nice it looks. Your kids are very lucky. Mine adore the water and swimming! They would love it. I just love the Mamma Mia music! I am going to get the soundtrack. I really didn't even think Pierce was THAT bad of a singer. He makes up for it with his looks anyway!
