It's gotta stop!
Wendy just posted about potting training her child. Well, I'm going to share this with you so maybe you can feel better about going through the whole potty training bit.
My 3 year old Korban has been potty trained since 2 1/2. He's had an accident here and there, but overall, he has done very well. Anyways, lately, I have had trouble with him doing something that he know's is wrong, but I guess he thinks it's pretty funny. He has started peeing all over the floor. I walked in the bathroom and almost slipped once on the floor. Then on Monday, Kaylor followed Korban in and came back out all wet. Yep! It was pee. (don't worry, I gave him a bath). Then just barely, before I sat down, and read Wendy's post, I went into the kitchen, and the floor was all wet, but looked like someone had tried to clean it up. I was thinking, what spilled? I asked Korban what it was and he didn't answer. Then I noticed the wash cloth that he had used to clean it up, and ya this is gross, but I smelled it to see what it was and it was "totally pee". Needless to say, I was pretty mad and Korban went to his room for 5 minutes.
I sure do love you Korban, but why are you doing this? It is definately not funny!!! And it's gotta stop!
And yes, I did mop the floor with bleach!

I hear ya! Let's just say I can relate. I am just so relieved if it isn't on the carpet! That is the absolute WORST. I have been pretty surprised that all three of my kids(the 4th is a baby of course)have tried this sort of thing. I hope it is a very fast phase for him. I just can't offer much advice 'cause I need it myself! Would love to hear ideas though. Hang it there.
Even though your story totally depresses me :) you have a way of making me laugh, and feel like "everything is going to be OK" for that I thank you. Your comments make me feel better through my terrible days:) good luck and thanks for your help
I would have him clean it ALL up, and wash the ALL clothes in the washer (with your help of course). I'm sorry, how sad! One time I have been known to put Sadie in a cold shower for doign something she knew was wrong...with her clothes on even. That got her attention :-)
Sounds like he's marking his territory...? I keep thinking it's time to potty train Cub, but now I think maybe I'll wait a little longer ;)
