Final days in WA

Well…..last night I spent at least 1 hour writing about ALL these pictures, then I lost EVERYTHING!  So now, you are going to get a real quick version. (I’ll try at least)

Dash Point on Fathers Day.  It rained on us, but was great fun and so relaxing.  We were without kids for 5 days!

1

Then the kids came to town, with grandma +grandpa + Bailee = 11 people in 1 tiny bedroom apartment.  WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

2

We helped Chad work in his shop, which is down in the parking garage.  The kids LOVED running and screaming down there.

3

After work, we got to relax in the hot tub.  It looked out over the tall buildings of the city……pretty cool!

4

5

Remember, we are a small town folk, so living in a big city is quite amazing.  We took a lot of pictures of the towers.

6

A park just 3 blocks from Down town Bellevue.  It was crazy to walk only 3 blocks from the city and be in a beautiful forest.

7

Just staying busy by pretending to be statues and playing around in the water.

8

Down town Bellevue park.  Feeding the ducks, and Bryer acting like King Kong!

9

Dash Point State park.  The tide was far out, and there were a ton of sand dollars and jelly fish.  Always loved this park!  One of our favs!

10

A beautiful view of Mt. Rainier.  We were on the bridge heading over to Mercer Island, from Seattle.

11

An AWESOME family we met here showed us this darling park.  I think it’s spelled Meydenbauer Park.

12

The kids met up with some friends from school.    Sorry I didn’t get pictures of all of you that came, but we still love you.  Thanks everyone for coming.  It was SO GREAT to see you all.

13

One thing we did a lot of- was EAT OUT!  We spent so much money on food, it was ridiculous.  But it was totally worth it!

This is at Blue C Sushi.  Loved it!  Even Kaylor loved it!

14

Jimmy Macks in Renton.  Ashlin had always wanted to go there since Chad told her we could throw peanut shells all over the ground.

15

The Crab Pot!  Everyone needs to experience the Crab Pot.

16

Our favorite dessert was at a Thai resturaunt.  It was Black Sticky Rice.  YUM!  And then we had PLENTY of Shnoo yogurt with fresh fruit!  It wouldn’t have been a good day without our Shnoo!!!

We finally finished and packed up on the 4th of July.   We left the great city of Bellevue at 8 pm…. saw the fireworks in Ellensburg from the car…… stopped at 2 am for some shut eye…… traveled some more…. stopped in Glens Ferry at this pretty park below…..more shut eye for Chad…..

17

……and finally arrived in Utah around 5 or 6 pm.  (can’t remember the exact time)…… hung out at G&G’s house……arrived at our house at MIDNIGHT!

Did I mention that we had 8 of us in a six passenger truck…. pulled a trailer sooo loaded that we could only travel 55 mph?  Yep….that was our lovely trip home!  SOME GREAT FUN!!!

Just think, if I didn’t loose my original version of this post, then it could have been TWICE as long with all the boring details and stuff!  Whewww!!!
