In the Past (July 2010)

A lot of Photo’s……Few words (well.. A LOT)!

Had a great 4th with family.  Brigham has some good fireworks, and your homemade ice-cream was great Les!July 4th

My first time Ever to Antelope Island.  My brother and family were visiting from Missouri, and this was one of their trips planned.  It is always good to hang with family.  It was fun, but the bugs and hike back to the car was not so fun!  I had a blast taking photos though.  The reflections in the water were wonderful.

My sis from Texas was also in town, so we had a small get together with 4 out of 6 siblings.  Thanks B and M for hosting.  We had a good time.Steele gathering

We ALMOST moved to Canada!  Yes, Canada!  Chad had a mission buddy that called him up and asked him to come work.  It was on a huge farm, (Chad’s dream)!  So Chad and I took a mini vacation up there to check it out.  When we arrived, I looked around, and there was not a mountain or hill in sight.  (that last photo of the hills, is in Montana)  We checked out the town, and schools.  I looked for houses to buy.   We seriously were considering the job.  Chad got to drive a Huge tractor.  I even rode in it.  And Yes….he did get it stuck!  No big deal though, they unhitched the thingy on the back and drove it right out!  It made for a good laugh!  Trip to Taber

Bryer turned the big ol’ 13!!! Two teenagers in the house….watch out!  He keeps us smiling though, and he is such the Lady’s man!  June5

The photo’s below is our family going down the Bear River.  There are a lot of shallow places that we just jumped out and could splash around.  And it was nice and sandy.  There were a couple of ropes tied to trees that the boys tried out.  And we also saw huge Cat fish or Carp skimming on the top, a blue Herron, and a couple of big Owls.

And check out the photo second one down on the left.  Those are all cleaning supplies we found.  A couple of weeks prior to our little river run, a truck had overturned into the river.  It was filled with all kinds of cleaning supplies and they are now in the river.  Every time I saw a bottle, I would grab it or I yelled to the other canoe to go get it.  I just saved a lot of money while having fun!  Whoo-Hoo! (there were no injuries in the truck accident)canoeing

And here is our little towns 24th celebration!  Always a good time.  Even when we lived away, we tried to make it back for this day!  Movie in the park, parade, games, auction, pie eating contest, chicken run, mutton bustin, and it all ended with a dance.   Good times, Good times!July 24th

The last photo!  Chad has always been so creative.  I love his imagination.  He can think of such off the wall things, and they are good and fun.  Well…..this is one of them.  A homemade hammock.  K and K LOVED it!  They were laughing so hard swinging, with the help of Chad pulling on the rope.  Another ‘good times’ moment!Captured Videos

Well, that was our crazy life in the month of July!  Not to mention girls camp and scout camp was in between all that.
