This is what a few of my kids have been up to this year. Bryer and Traven have been wrestling, and they have done really well. They have practice 3 times a week. Usually a dual each week. And then a tournament every Saturday. It keeps us busy taking them back and forth from town. And we are 15 minutes from town, so it’s not just a quick drop them off, pick them up kind of a thing. It does help to have someone else to carpool with. I’m thankful for that. But they love it, so it’s all worth it!
This year, Mishae is in the Chamber choir, which she absolutely LOVES! She got a cool sweat shirt and a hideous dress that we had to pay for, (which she will probably only wear once)! But she has made some really good friends from choir. (psst….to the right of Mishae {her left} is Jackson….just so ya know! wink, wink)
Bryer was in the boys choir the first trimester. He is a really good singer, but I think he thinks that singing is not very cool. He was glad to get out for the 2nd tri. I put the arrows to show where my kids were in the group, but Bryers arrow really goofed up when I uploaded it. He is actually the one right next to the piano on the front row (not the boy the arrow is pointing to).
Here is Traven singing for his 5th grade program. He was the boy who broke a bat on Jimmy’s head in the song! He is just a little goof ball while singing. I really don’t think he takes it serious. Just there to have fun. The music teacher in our Elementary school is so wonderful. She comes up with the cutest programs and songs. When Mishae was in 5th grade, they entered and won a Libby’s Labels contest.
For the next month or 2, Mishae is practicing for the play every day. She is doing Fiddler on the Roof, and of course will have a blast doing it.
