From Shirts to Pillows

About 100 years ago, my sis-in-law made these pillows for me.  Oh, I helped a little.  But you can see how worn out and out dated they are, so I finally updated them. 

I figured out the colors I wanted and when ever I was in town, I would stop at the DI, and find me something that I thought would work.  These are the shirts I ended up with to make my pillow covers. 

And here are my Pillows.  I loved how they turned out.  And each one of them opens up, so I can take the pillow out and wash just the cover.  And with 4 boys in the house, these pillows are very used and abused.  So far, they have held up well.
